Through the Council's 2017 special initiative, Journey in the New South, the North Carolina Humanities Council is supporting programming which explores the legacy of race and ethnicity in North Carolina. This event is the 4th in our series.

In partnership with the Charlotte Post Foundation and the Consolidated Media Alliance, the North Carolina Humanities Council is marking the one-year anniversary of the Keith Lamont Scott schooting with an opportunity for a candid conversation. This community conversation will explore the impact of the shooting and following protests and riots in Charlotte and how the community continues to move forward. This event is FREE but registration required.
