In 2007, the YWCA of Asheville celebrated its Centennial.
Ten historical panels were created to give an
overview of the YWCA’s past 100 years of social
justice work in the Asheville community.
The symposium and exhibit featured photographs by local photographer Lawrence S. Earley. Held at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center, the exhibit focused on some of the legendary boat builders of the region and their workboat designs.
