General Robert E. Lee: The Autumn of His Life

While the greater part of Robert E. Lee’s adult life was spent in military pursuits, Lee chose to spend his final years developing the minds, character, and strength of young students as President of Washington College, a small campus in Lexington, Virginia.  The dedication he displayed as the leader of a growing collection of aspiring students, from both north and south, spoke louder, stronger, and certainly much longer, toward assuring a proud future for a wounded American society.  “Robert E Lee: The Autumn of His Life” will take the audience on a personal journey with Lee, a man of character and spiritual dedication, as he took his place in American culture and history, a place where he was afforded the opportunity to address his passion of nurturing the reconciliation and growth of others.
