Margaret Hoffman received her M.A. in English literature from George Mason University in 1995. She has held jobs in the fields of publishing, advertising, journalism, and public relations; has ghostwritten books for management consultants; and has taught creative writing courses to children and adults at colleges, universities, and schools throughout the south. Ms. Hoffman has published short stories, poetry, and scholarly essays in literary magazines and newspapers including the Atlanta Journal and Constitution Sunday Magazine and the Winston-Salem Journal.
