Tim Minor is the associate vice chancellor of University Development at North Carolina A&T State University. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of A & T’s central development office, comprising five departments and as well as the coordinated development activity of the University’s schools and unit development efforts across campus. Minor received a B.A. in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994. His prior development experience includes two years at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and 12 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a senior member of the Development Office serving in various major gift director roles in the University’s $500M Bicentennial Campaign and the most recent $2.3B Carolina First Campaign that concluded in 2007.  His most recent role was that of Director of Development for Centers and Institutes where Minor served as the lead development officer for eleven centers and institutes housed in academic affairs. Minor assumed his role as Associate Vice Chancellor of Development at North Carolina A&T State University in March 2008. An active citizen, Minor has volunteered his time to work with children as a track coach with the Durham Striders.  He’s remained active in his church, Abundant Hope, as the chair of the Nehemiah Ministry and its Campaign for Hope (the building campaign).  He also served as a Board Member for the Orange County Boys & Girls Club.
